Zip up the synthetically insulated Patagonia Rubicon Rider Jacket when the only sure thing about the day's weather is the take-your-breath-away temps. Keep your body heat at survivable levels with the mostly recycled Thermogreen insulation, which still works if it gets wet. But the dry flakes and random chairlift drips brush away thanks to the waterproof breathable H2No panels on the shoulders, elbows, and bottom hem as well as a water-repellent Deluge coating over the entire jacket.
